Tigers  v  Bromley Cross Lightening

Our first win of the season finally arrived in blistering style. With the game barely 2 minutes old Sahar buried the ball at the second time of asking, and one minute later he had doubled his and the teams tally, after a good dribble and finish down the left. After the drought, of 4 games without a goal, the flood gates were truly open just 5 minutes into the game, when Joseph played a good ball into the box for Daniel to cleverly lift the ball over the oncoming keeper.

Obviously wanting to get in on the act himself, Joseph added the 4th of the half using his pace to good advantage. The fifth was Sahars hat trick, we were now in dream land!! Just a couple of minutes before half time Bromley Cross hit a shot from distance, that managed to squeeze in. However that didn't stop us as Joseph again tore away from the defence and buried the ball seconds before half time. 6-1.

The second half was a lot closer as Bromley Cross started to come at us a lot more, and the defence had to start playing their part with some very good saves and tackles, however the pressure soon started to tell and unfortunately Liam turned into his own net whilst trying to cut out the ball from the attackers, and Bromley Cross third was also an own goal with Sahar obviously enjoying scoring so much he got his 'fourth' of the match!!

Credit to both Liam and Sahar they didn't let their heads drop, and rightly so as neither goal was anyone's fault. With  5 minutes left on the clock Joseph, again, tore down the right before powering his hat-trick goal past the goalie.

The game also saw Matt Hirst play his first game with the Tigers, he must be our good luck charm! Brilliant team performance, and superb result.
